Is it possible to get different results if i did the test twice?
No. Your DNA is unique to yourself and never changes, regardless of the number of times you do the test, the result will always be the same.

How do i use the swab?
Simply rub the tip of the swab around the inside of your cheek. 2 Swabs are supplied, you will need to do this for both swabs.

Does it matter if the swab is too wet?
No not really, however the sample will be recived by us in a better condition if it's not too wet.

Do I need to involve my doctor?
No. DNA testing is confidential. We do not ask for your Doctors details. The peace of mind test can be conducted at home. If the results are required for legal use then a nurse or doctor will be required to collect the DNA samples. DNA Worldwide have a network of collection sites around the world and can send a Nurse to your home, office or solicitor in the UK.

Why shouldn't I Eat, Drink or Smoke for up to 2 hours before collecting my DNA sample
Eating, Drinking and Smoking damages the DNA cells within your mouth. You have to give these cells time to regenerate so that enough DNA can be collected for testing. If time is not left then it can be tricky for enough DNA to be extracted for testing, this may result in a delay in receiving your DNA Test results. In a small number of cases there may not be enough DNA on the swab and DNA Worldwide will request a Re-Collection of DNA. There is no charge for the Re-Collection.
