DNA Laboratory Accreditation
The DNA Worldwide Laboratory, Eurofins Medigenomix, is fully Accredited and exceeds all UK and international requirements. The Laboratory Director And Operations Director works hard to maintain an excellent reputation for providing absolute accurate DNA testing services. The following are some of the main accreditation programs participated in and what they mean for our clients.
ISO 17025:2005
The DNA Worldwide Laboratory, Eurofins Medigenomix, received its accreditation to ISO 17025:2005 for all its DNA tests and services including Forensic Casework. In accordance with UK and International Legal Requirements all DNA Tests for legal purposes must be performed by a Laboratory accredited to ISO 17025:2005.
ISO 17025:2005 covers the complete laboratory process to ensure no mistakes occur due to the carefully crafted procedures. Every samples received is subject to the strict quality and process control set out by ISO 17025:2005.
ISO 9001:2009
In addition to the UK Legal requirements for ISO:17025. DNA Worldwide and the DNA Worldwide Laboratory, Eurofins Medigenomix, are accredited to ISO 9001:2009. This accreditation covers quality management and customer service.
This means that full quality control systems are in place from the first point of contact with a member of the DNA Worldwide Team until your results are released. We work to continually improve our customer service offering to make the process as simple as possible for the client.
Ministry of Justice Accreditation
Eurofins Medigenomix has been accredited by the Ministry of Justice as a body that may carry out parentage tests directed by the civil courts in England and Wales under section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act 1969.
Department of Health Code Of Practice
DNA Worldwide adheres to the Department of Health’s Voluntary Code of Practice and Guidance for Genetic Paternity Testers in the UK.
Human Tissue Authority Complient
DNA Worldwide is fully compliant with the UK Human Tissue Authority rules on DNA Storage, DNA Testing and Consent to DNA Testing.
