Your Pets DNA in a glass & silver Life Jewel Pendant

DNA Worldwide purifies your companion’s DNA into a fine, silky web that captures a luminescent color tincture of your choice. You choose the color to reflect your pet’s unique feeling.

The DNA rests in the channels of a sterling silver double helix and is preserved forever in resin. The Crafstman pendant is finished with a sterling silver cap and a heart-shaped charm. An 18 inch sterling double rope chain is included.

We also provide a signed certificate card verifying that the DNA in your Life Jewel™ Pendant was purified from the submitted sample.

Patented method turns DNA into the Life Jewel

DNA is tiny and normally looks like a blob of yellow mess, not something you would want to wear! In order to produce a beautifully looking pendant we worked for over 2 years and have developed a patented process to create each unique Life Jewel.

The Science Steps

Firstly we extract the DNA, purify and clean it. We then replicate the DNA so that we have enough to see. And then die it one of 9 stunning colors that you choose.

Once the DNA is died the color of choice we rest the DNA in the channels of a sterling silver double helix. This is then embedded in acrylic to ensure DNA does not get damaged. We finish the Life Jewel pedant by crowning the glass with a sterling silver cap. You can choose to have a heart-shaped charm, so you can engrave the other side with your loved ones name.

Painless and easy to collect the DNA

The easiest way to collect the DNA of your Pet (Dog, Cat, Horse, Bird, Reptile or Human) is by using a simple cotton bud inside their mouth. Then simply pop the cotton bud in the postage paid envelope and we'll send you back your DNA Life Pedant with 8-12 weeks.

However if this is not possilbe other options are:

For Cats, Dogs, Horses and other Hoofed Animals

A 1 ml blood sample (approximately 1 teaspoon) yields enough DNA to make a
Life Jewel Pendant. If you are planning to visit your vet, simply request that he/she collects 1 ml of blood in a lavender-top blood collection tube. The sample can be shipped in a padded envelope. No refrigeration is required if sent promptly.

Horses and other Hoofed Animals

Plucked mane and tail hairs with the hair root material intact are an excellent source of DNA. Wrap a few hairs around your finger and pull slowly and steadily (a quick tug can break the hairs at the base). You should see a little hook-like projection at the end. Gather about 10 hairs in this manner into a bunch and place in the specamin envelope, provided in the kit.

For birds, fish and reptiles

Our feathered and scaled friends have DNA in all their blood cells so DNA Worldwide only needs a drop of blood. Blood can be spotted on an ordinary piece of paper, allowed to dry, and enclosed in a the specamin envelope.

Complete with sterling chain and certificate

An 18 inch sterling cable chain is included. However you can choose to order a different chain length when sending back the DNA sample.

You will also receive a signed certificate card verifying that the DNA in your DNA Life Pendant is actually from your loved one and is genuine.
